Archetypal tourism city, Nice isn’t quite a low-cost resort, although snooping around a bit through the guides, one may still find plenty of places suitable for all budgets.

Shopping is one of the main activities of both tourists and Nice inhabitants, which constantly roam in between Old Nice, the Nice Etoile shopping center and the large pedestrian area filled with many small shops displaying clothes, shoes, jewels and other stylish luxury products. Sales are a very prized event in Nice, as well as on the entire French Riviera, offering substantial discounts in January for their wintertime products and in July for summertime ones.
